Public Relations & Communications Manager

The Position:

JazzHR is experiencing rapid growth and is looking to expand our team with the addition of a high-energy, talented Public Relations & Communications Manager. This is a stellar opportunity for a talented storyteller with command of thought leadership, content marketing, and media relations strategy to have a meaningful, tangible impact in a growing organization.

The ideal candidate is a ‘doer’ who can think strategically and act tactically, loves a challenge, and is passionate about communications.  This position reports to our Vice President of Marketing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Public & Media Relations
    • Work closely with the marketing team to design, develop, and execute public and media relations strategies in support of our business goals
    • Identify opportunities to effectively communicate JazzHR’s value propositions to key audiences via different channels, including traditional media, influencer outreach, social media, etc.
    • Continue to build on the brand and manage the content and editorial funnels with a strategic eye to ensure we are developing what we need, when we need it, to drive market impact
  • Content Creation
    • Create powerful, original content marketing that delivers revenue-generating results through mindshare and thought leadership
    • Develop press releases, bylines, media pitches, articles, etc.
  • Analysis & Insights
    • Create and deliver analysis to measure program effectiveness; continually make and implement recommendations for optimization and ongoing growth
    • Develop methods to evaluate marketing communication projects based upon effectiveness and cost/benefit and documents results

What you'll bring:

  •  5+ years of B2B marketing or communications experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or similar required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, creative thinking and ability to thrive amidst cross-functional projects, aggressive deadlines, and consistent change
  • Unrelenting curiosity, initiative, and resourcefulness

This role is based in Waltham, MA and not eligible for telecommuting.  Qualified candidates must be able to work onsite in our office each day.
