Customer Success Manager

The Position:

JazzHR is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our Pittsburgh-based team.  Customer Success Managers are high-energy, dynamic communicators who can build relationships over the phone with ease. Your consultative style will help you identify client needs, match them to products or services and pitch those solutions in way that results in expansion of sales.  You need to understand technology and be willing to jump in and help customers, but also know when to seek assistance from our technical support team.  As a customer advocate within the company, you proactively promote the needs of our clients to our product and engineering teams and you know how to prevent churn and keep customers happy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Customer retention within your assigned base of accounts
  • Cross-selling and upselling new products and services
  • Implementation of new JazzHR customers
  • Gathering quotes, customer stories, leads, and references from happy customers
  • Maintaining accurate customer records within Salesforce.com
  • Moving customers from monthly payments to annual or pre-paid plans
  • Providing over-the-top, unexpected levels of customer service
  • Answering questions and resolving issues related to the use of Jazz
  • Gathering customer feedback and filing enhancement requests for our product team
  • Work successfully as a part of a team and independently
  • Making decisions and/or solving problems
  • Constant communication with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Regular workplace attendance

What you'll bring:

  • 1-2 years in an account management or customer success role
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM tool
  • Understanding of sales processes
  • Background in the tech industry or strong technical aptitude
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA and not eligible for telecommuting.  Qualified candidates must be able to work onsite in our office each day.
